The Signoscope T3 is the further development of the SAFE Signoscope, the first optical-electric watermark finder and test device used worldwide. The device works completely without chemicals and therefore without any risk to the stamps. The Safe Signoscope T3 works with sideways light while the seal is pressurized. The operation is very simple. In addition to watermarks, it clarifies repairs, degree of preservation, quality defects and paper irregularities. The Signoscope T3 is much more powerful than its predecessors; It works with 3 strong LEDs, which are hardly susceptible to wear and tear and are very energy efficient. These LEDs guarantee optimal illumination of the stamp. The Signoscope T3 shows what was previously hidden and makes differences in watermarks visible, which can mean a significant difference in the value of the stamp. The LED light sources are continuously dimmable. This way you will find optimal lighting for each stamp, as maximum light exposure is not always said to be essential for the watermark. The intensity of the light sources is adjusted by moving the control button up and down (+ and -). In addition, the watermark can be examined with 8 different light colors, all of which can be dimmed separately. Watermarks, paper irregularities or repairs may look different depending on the color of light and may be more recognizable. The following light colors can be freely selected: brown, red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, violet and natural white daylight as the central examination light. These different colors can significantly improve the test result, for example by a (mainly) red ground mark that is irradiated with red light and therefore the red printing ink, which can shine through on the back of the mark, is virtually “neutralized”. The watermark is now displayed more clearly and is no longer disturbed by unwanted color influences. The light color is selected by moving the control button to the right and left ().
